What Is ABA Therapy for Autism?
Applied behavior analysis therapy, more commonly known as ABA therapy, is a therapeutic approach that, simply put, changes behaviors by changing the environment.
We primarily use two forms of ABA therapy for autism: discrete trial training and natural environment teaching.
Natural Environment Teaching
Uses familiar settings to help the child learn in a safe, comfortable way, practicing skills where they naturally occur to boost confidence and reduce anxiety.
Discrete Trial Training
Breaks tasks into small steps, each taught with clear instruction, helping children with autism learn new skills step by step.
What Is ABA Therapy?
